A carpet cleaner works inside your home, often with your kids and pets nearby, and quotes can be hard to compare. Most people ask a neighbor. Carpet Care Finder is for when you don’t have one to ask — or want to double-check the name you got. We show what you can verify for yourself: IICRC certification, the guarantee and insurance a business states, its published prices and its review pages. No invented ratings, and anything featured is clearly labeled.

Carpet Care Finder helps households find carpet, rug and upholstery cleaners, compare what they publish, and contact them directly. We’re starting with Tampa Bay, Florida.

A first collection, with room to grow.

Our collection includes 181 businesses based in 25 Tampa Bay areas. It is a researched starting point, not a complete inventory of every carpet cleaner in Tampa Bay. We include independent businesses, franchise territories and restoration firms that offer carpet cleaning, and keep each franchise territory as its own listing. Most cleaners come to you, so many listings show the areas a business says it serves rather than a street address. Owner-verified listings are marked individually after review.

Where the details come from.

We use three kinds of source: the business’s own website, its matching Google Business Profile, and the official IICRC register. Where a business’s site doesn’t publish an address, phone or hours, we may use its Google Business Profile for those details and cite it. Every listing links to its sources and shows when we checked them. A check date does not mean the business updated its page that day.

Anything we couldn’t find stays unknown: we never fill a gap with a guess. Published opening hours use Tampa Bay (Eastern) local time. Map pins and distances are approximate, and your location is only used in your browser to sort by distance — it is never sent to us. Logos come from the business’s own website; initials appear when we haven’t sourced a usable logo.

IICRC certification, guarantees and insurance.

We match every listing against the official IICRC register of Certified Firms by business name, phone and city, and show the match with the date we checked. When a business states IICRC certification on its own site but we couldn’t match it, we say exactly that. You can check any firm yourself on the IICRC Global Locator. Satisfaction guarantees, insurance and product notes (such as pet-safe or eco-friendly solutions) are short paraphrases of what the business publishes; its own written terms are what count. We don’t verify insurance, so ask for a certificate before work starts. We record a price only when the business publishes it, and we don’t estimate cleaning costs.

Reviews, with their sources.

Listings link to matching review pages where we can identify them. We don’t copy star ratings or review counts from other platforms — we link to them, so you always read the current reviews in their own context. Testimonials a business chooses for its own site are kept separate from independent reviews.

What a listing means.

Inclusion is not an endorsement, partnership, or quality rating. We don’t invent reviews, star ratings, prices or credentials. Nothing on Carpet Care Finder is legal or insurance advice. Business names and logos identify the businesses and belong to their respective owners.

What “Featured” means.

Some owner-verified businesses are Featured. Featured businesses have spoken with Winback Engine, the company behind Carpet Care Finder, about its customer-reactivation service, and may be Winback Engine customers. Featured listings carry a “Featured” label and can appear first in the default sort. Featuring never changes a listing’s trust check, credentials, prices or review sources, and every other sort and filter works exactly the same for every business.

For business owners.

Claim requests and suggested corrections are free. Requests are held for review; submitting a form does not change a public listing or prove ownership. Ownership should be established through a business contact that was independently published before the request.
